One tip to always keep in mind when using a silicone or ceramic surfaced electric griddle-use the right utensils! Silicone utensils are always your best choice for non-stick surfaces, they are sturdy and won't scratch the surface. Wood works well but is harder to clean. Silicone goes right into the dishwasher-what could be easier?
